Humana agrees to buy Atlanta insurer: "Health insurer Humana Inc. said yesterday it has agreed to buy CompBenefits Corp. in a $360 million deal aimed at broadening its dental care offerings and allowing it to directly provide vision-care benefits.
Atlanta-based CompBenefits, which posted 2006 revenues of $345 million, offers dental and vision benefit plans to more than 4.8 million members nationwide.
The company serves more than 14,000 employer groups in 22 states, primarily in the South and Midwest."...
